MUSEUMS DRAWING COURSE

Learn about the art, internalise it, discuss it and let it expand and inform your practice.

We offer drawing courses in the museums of various cities. You can develop your drawing skills, inform your own work and study art history from some of the best collections in the world.

This course will get you well acquainted with the cultural landscape of a city while learning the fundamentals of drawing. You will be guided on how to look and draw from various angles and how to apply this to your own work. We will build your drawing skills, your art history and your cultural connections to the city you are in

BERLIN

In Berlin we visit the various state museums including Alte and Neue Nationalgalerie, Hamburger Bahnhof, Gemäldegalerie, and Sammlung Scharf Gerstenberg. We study the city's collection in chronological order to understand the influences and connections of the artists'work housed there. In the longer courses we also visit contemporary galleries to catch important current exhibitions and weave that into the cultural timeline.

October 2nd- November 27th 2026, Fridays 3-5pm with the option to continue drawing together until 6pm when the museums close.

27/11- To be confirmed- this week we will go to a relevant contemporary exhibition that I will confirm nearer the time.
